VIDEO EDITING
I think whenever I approach video production in any capacity, my mind is starting at the edit process. Because the edit is ultimately what the thing will be when all is done. What happens, what’s said, and what it builds toward. This translates to storybarding and screenwriting, and it’s especially important for animation. It’s pacing. It’s timing. It's tone. It's genre. It's tension and release. It's entertainment. And for film in particular, the medium lives and dies in the camera and in the edit. And I'm very lucky that I get to contribute to the latter on a professional level.

I primarily edit with DeVinci Resolve Studio and Premiere Pro. I also incorporate After Effects into my editing workflow, creating motion graphics or tackling simple VFX like compositing, masking, greeking, keying, and camera tracking.
