BACKGROUND
I am a Telly and Emmy Award-Winning editor, director, producer, and motion graphics animator, but my broader skills as a graphic artist, graphic designer, writer, creative producer, post supervisor, VFX compositor, and consultant can all be attributed to the necessities that came with the grass-roots companies I’ve worked for.
In my early career, after film school, I was the sole person in charge of designing all of the marketing content for a then-small manufacturing company, including magazine advertisements, packaging, and trade show fabrication. After that, I was the lead graphic designer and content creator for niche influencers and local events while also being a jack-of-all-trades on local film sets... at one point holding slate for camera and PAing while also in charge of set design and VFX and, eventually, a writer/director. These opportunities inevitably led me to producing video content full-time, editing pilots, award-winning short films, videos for local businesses, and B2B content with equal parts live video and motion design.
When I finally found myself breaking ground as a co-founder of Liquid Arts Media, an independent production company, alongside just two other individuals inside a single 300-square-foot office, my experience was put into overdrive creating the demo reels, the website, and mission statements and promotional materials, the pitch decks... on top of being the lead editor/animator, VFX supervisor, and the director of post production for projects in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Orlando, New York City and abroad. During my ten years with LAM, the company went from creating recipe videos for social media, to producing feature films, movie trailers, video podcasts, live event content, and video broadcast solutions for studios, brands, celebrities, and non-profit organizations. And I’m very proud to continue collaborating with that team still today.
From the very start of my professional life, I have always been a part of a small team where "all hands" and several hats were not just valuable, but essential. On top of that, and perhaps most importantly, it was an unwavering commitment to quality and personal integrity that made those ventures thrive. Now I want to lend those skills and experiences to more people. I hope to help new brands, businesses, organizations, and individuals, as well as new and established piers in video production explore new creative endeavors, reach new professional milestones, and find greater personal fulfillment in their work.
